damn virus

ok... got a Norton AntiVirus Notification

it's not the first time i had a message like this but this one is freaking me out!!! i can't delete it and the message keeps poping up and my machine is running so slow... does somebody know how I can delete this f**king virus :evil:

Note: Steps 1 to 3 will work in many cases, and should be tried first. However, with some variants of this Trojan, particulaly if the Trojan has run, additional steps may be required.

Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).
Update the virus definitions.
Restart the computer in Safe mode or VGA mode.
Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected as PWSteal.Trojan.

did all the steps and looked on the symantec site, but I could not delete it. It was impossible. It was multiplying itself extremely fast, so... format c: and I reinstaled XP. The virus is gone, my document where store on my secondary drive and my machine is running smooth again 8)
