watercooling voids warranty? [Archive]

does this apply for all video cards? I have a bfg 6800gt and they said that since i put a watercooling block on it i voided my warranty. is this true?

Well I'm sure if you replaced their hs with your own water cooling system that it will void the warrenty.

True, but if you need to RMA the thing, put the stock cooler back on & don't say a word :mrgreen:

exactly!!! btw, i think that bfg sells vid cards with watercoolers already on them.

That they do, Koolance blocks with 1/4 inch fittings.
