British artist Richard Bolam uses HyperCard to create generative art using ancient Mac Classics.

Bolam, who lives and works in the British city of Sheffield, is gaining recognition as an artist successfully working with technology -- old technology.

"I enjoy embracing the technology of old Macs," Bolam said.

It's kinda twisted but at least he has found a use for macs.....

that guy needs beat to death. i didn't see anything "art" about it, unless you consider 8 white, useless pieces of plastic on a desk art. lol

What is art, anyway...Andy Warhol got famous as hell because he painted a portrait of a Campbell's soup label.

The real crime is that your tax dollars (whether UK or US) support morons like that, and encourage their "art".

So what you are saying is that there is still no use for a mac?

There is one, and only one. They keep the freaky art kids at bay.

Hmmmm......ummmmmm.....well, there are still those that prefer them for digital recording/editing, because of more stable OS. But with the release of XP, and especially the release of OS X, along with sampling software available that is so much better than ProTools, paying three times as much for a Mac is pretty senseless.

And others prefer them for animation creation, because of their dual processor models, but now you can get a dual processor PC for half the price.

SO...yeah, no use for a Mac.
