Jan. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Crude oil fell to the lowest in almost three weeks after OPEC agreed to leave production targets unchanged and Iraq's election yesterday passed without attacks on pipelines and other infrastructure.

about bloody time, though it figures that my car is busted and I don't need gas when the prices fall.

Even putting aside the fact that I'm decently sure Michigan is among the lowest gas prices in the world right now, I'd still be happy to see them go down. Why, I remember (enter 'the things your parents might say') when gas prices were down to $.96 a couple of summers back. Kind of sad that I wasn't driving then.

yeh, i'm only 23 and i can remember buying gas when it was $0.88/gal.

lol...I remember when it was 29 cents a gallon...a quarter would put the gas can for my minibike/lawn mower at the perfect level.
It was 44 cents when I started driving, though was 55 cents within a year or so.
