those are some nice cars.........but 420 whp is very low for a drag car, it ought to be closer to 700 if not over. one of the local guys, who has done some of the work on my car, has a street driven hatch, somtimes a daily driver, that is 620 whp............and as for the 11 second ef, thats not saying much for an ef. all you have to do is throw a gsr motor in there and put a 75 shot of the funny stuff and you got a mid 11 sec. car. but i say again, they are nice.

Yeah best run I know of for that dragster is an 11.7, which yeah .. it should be runnin 9's :?

the nines are out of reach for him with that power. either he has more power than 420 or the 11.7 is roughly right. to hit nines in that car, you would need well over 500 hp, even on a good run.

did you ever run it at a track, cuz the best i know of out of those cars is about a 15.9 or a 16.0

It got totalled about 2 days after I started driving it again, never got the chance to take it to the track.

"Quick" is based on:

never lost to a honda (no nos/forced induction) - one was my friends civic SI which he managed a 16.1 with, then I beat him by about 4 car lengths from a dead stop to 100Mph, so 15.7-16.0 somewhere's...
beat <98 mustang GT's, >00 eclipse GT's, 80's z28's, blah...... thinking about that car makes me want to KILL a certain 17 year old female that can't drive......... heh..........

the picture turned out horrible thanks to the camera phone and glare from the window. anyway, it looks to be an ordinary wing at first glance. upon closer inspection, i discovered that this was a homemade wing! dude bolted on all kinds of various scrap metal and came up with this contraption.

the best part about it... we pulled up behind the car, and while kim was snapping the pic, the owner walks up out of nowhere and gives me the "what?" shoulder shrug. without missing a beat, i point to his wing and im like "what is that?"

he kinda laughed then walked off. at this point im laughing pretty hard. i mean, how often do you get to confront the ricer and let him know that his car is a joke.... :mrgreen:
