CPU Max Temps???

I've been searching for ages to find what are the max temps for the following CPU's:

P4 2.4 Northwood

P4 3.0 Prescott

Is there a site with these listed? or does anyone know them off hand.

i don't know about the prescott's, but northwoods tend to start giving errors/lockups when you get above 60C (that has been the case in my experience anyway)

My 2.5g p4 northwood runs about 46c at load.I


Ive heard that prescotts run in the 60'sc at load. Prescotts run a lot hotter and one would really need water cooling to overclock a prescott.

Makes me glad I've got a AMD Tbrd that only hits 45 with a crappy HSF. :)

I've got a 3.0 Prescott... trust me above 65 and it gets really bad. it won't be worth spit. It's an overheated processor anyway.
