Did you paint the inside?

playafly187

actually, that pic is pretty accurate, color-wise. the aliminum is pretty light... not like that dark steel color most cases have.

silenze

Changed my chipset fan, the old one was making too much noise, and managed to get rid off some more cables by putting them under the motherboard tray.

Yeah, get rid of the purple/green pci-agp snap-down thingies... try mounting your hard drives backward, and try rerouting the IDE cable for the rom drives around the drive cage..

I just put my system back in my Soprano case last night..

are the hd's stable (physicly) w/ just one screw? I was hesitant to turn them backwards b/c of this.

silenze
09-12-2005, 02:40 PM
Yes, there's one in each side of the drives, and mine has on the right side of the top racks, little bent-inward pins in the front screw holes to help hold them there. Shouldn't move with 2 screws in nice and tight though..

Where's my membership card and what kind of benefits do I get to take unholy advantage of? ... j/k..

I was a tiny bit nervous about pumping water into my computer, but then while putting it together and seeing how hard the fittings are put together.. then filling it with a res.. I'm real comfortable with it now, not even worried about it leaking...

(watch me go home to a steamy case of athlon 64 soup...)
