probably a bit of a long story. basically caj was doing it. then he basically wasn´t keeping up with it. so playa is back to doing it, but kim he´s been under the weather lately, so he´s been pretty busy.

anyway, it should pick back up soon.

Ahem, thanks guys, but let's know the story first. I was, and will be doing it, but with my computer's video card dying, it takes special aversion to specific things I do. For example, I can't spend more then a couple of minutes in Outlook (only a minute or two if I'm writing an email), which makes it difficult to update. When I replace my video card, which will happen when I get my tax return, I'll be doing it again.

yeh, sorry. i wasn´t really trying to put blame on ya or anything, was just stating that you hadn´t been able to keep up with it lately.

You’re running a 9800Pro correct? I know the built-by-ATi cards have a 3yr. warranty, have you looked into getting it RMA'ed?

9500 flashed to 9800 at one time I think..

ATI Radeon 9500 Pro, between a year and 2 old. I voided whatever warrenty there might have been when I flashed the BIOS the first time last summer, sadly enough.

9500's don't flash to 9800's, they flash to 9700's. :)

I'm going to be replacing it (85% sure) with a BFG 6600GT OC. Wasn't BFG a gun in the old doom games? (Or the new one, for that matter.)

Yup.. Doom 8)

Doesn't it stand for Big F'ing Gun or something along those lines? :)

Hmm... for some reason BFG 9000 comes to mind.

If it's no older than that I'd still try RMA'ing it, I've heard of people in other forums RMA'ing there's with a flashed bios and several with older cards ended up getting a 9800Pro in return.

The worst thing that can happen is they will say no.
