I picked up a copy of Gran Turismo 4 the other day. It is pretty awesome. It's basically the same as GT3 with more tracks and more cars and a few other things you can do that rock. It has a neat used car system that lets you pick up sweet cars for cheap. The downside to this is they have 30+ thousand miles on them and the body isn't as rigid. You can pay 50k to get the body back to new though.
An awesome feature I just found last night was the photo gallery. You can take any of your cars and place them on different backgrounds that look REAL. Then you can use a simplified version of photoshop type stuff to manipulate the camera. You can pick the car up and move it wherever and then move the camera. Try zooming in for a tighter shot, or adjusting the brightness and white balance. I ended up with a nice shot of my NSX tilted and in monotone. After that it shows you what the picture will look like and its VERY DETAILED. They look amazing.
But the kick assness doesn't stop there. The playstation has USB ports. You can put your flash drive in there and it will save it to the flash drive so you can store it on your computer! With the quality on Super Fine, it was about 1280 x 960 pixels taking up about 300 kb per pic. Excellent idea for wallpapers. Once I snag some of my favorite cars in the game, I think I'll be making me some new wallpaper. Once I get home and can reduce the size in photoshop, I'll post some.
