I used to enjoy ATI's products, but it was the drivers that really steered me away from them. Sure they always work, but they are not tweaked out at all like the nVidia's

Just because I have never owned an nvidia doesnt mean I cant vote against ATI.

I voted Nvidia, for the drivers. I've owned a few ATI and Nvidia cards, and have always had less issues with Nvidia. I currently have a GeForce4 4600 128mb.

my aiw 9600 is a perfect in-between card, great for gaming, watching, more - haven't had an nvidia better than the mx440, so I can't say anything bad about the higher end cards.

I like Nvidia but I do have to admit that there Fx5800 and 5600 cards really did suck and the only good cards they've made lately is the fx5900 line and of course there new kick ass 6800 line. Ati is good as well just personal preference I guess.

ATi is good when you get it working...

But I voted Nvidia because they're just better all around.

365W.. your video drivers haven't yelled at you for a bigger power supply ?? heh

I was running a 300W w/2500+ @ 2.2ghz and the fx5900, it shut down my games after about 20 minutes and warned me about my power supply being insufficient. 450W fixed that..

Never owned an Nvidia card so I can't talk bad about them, but have been using ATi for years with no complaints.
As long as they keep working well for me, I'll keep buying em.

nVidia rules! I love their nForce boards!

The graphics drivers are amazing!

As for SiS, even though the Xabre400 outperforms the GeForce3 in (some/most) tests, the company isn't good as a budget video company, since GeForce3s with better drivers and better technical support are an overall better buy. I have an FX5200, and it rules! Screw SiS!

i almost voted SIS just because nobody else did and I felt bad :( , but I vote ATI. My 9500 pro works great and no driver issues.

I must've missed that review, in most of SIS's reviews they don't make it through enough benchmarks without artifacts/rendering glitches to make a decent comparison. lol

CONCLUSIONS

# Pros Better than GeForce 4 MX440 performance
# Low budget card with great TV-Out Chip
# 3D VR Glasses support

Cons
# Lacking performance
# No Software bundle

I like how ECS has made a decent product that is stable and powerful enough to beat its intended competition as a GeForce 4 MX series replacement card. While I couldn't understand why the Xabre 400 had a 3D glasses connector but I bet ECS is planning to market 3D glasses. I RECOMMEND the card to users who are unhappy with their GeForce 4 MX cards and want a cheap and stable replacement.

Overall Score: 82%
