Ok Ive got the pny 6800. Ive unlocked the extra pipelines. Everything is fine. However, I can not...or it wont let me overclock the the core or memory on the card. Ive tried rivatuner and the coolbits option for nvidia. Any suggestions?

try powerstrip, that usually works best for me.

RivaTuner <-- Use it
...and tell it not to check internal clocks (sometimes keeps your from overclocking because the card doesn't want to deviate from its desired speeds.)

Trust me, I know because I got a GeForce 6800 OC by BFG... I can pump 100MHz more out of the memory and 50MHz out of the clock. ;)

Only with a BFG card such as your's with the common problem that BFG's are known to have should that method be used... otherwise you're just wasting your time.
