Software to check internet speed

What software can I use to check my internet speed from time to time? The thing is, sometimes my internet seems so slow and I want something to show my cable company what crappy service they offer. Ofcourse I live in chile, so I have to check my speed with local sites and not american.

Any suggestions?

I use a program called bandwidth meter

its usually pretty acurate.

just remember that cable is a shard connection so at times its going to be slow & I know that pretty much every broadband isp here in the states will tell ya that the speed they give you is a maximum speed & isnt guaranteed. thats what theyll probly tell ya :vomit: unless its running at dialup speed.
