Im my opinon you did an excellant job considering all the devices you have installed. What I would do to clean it up is get rid of some of them. Id say try and get rid of the 40's and invest in a 160+. You get rid of several ide cables, and you can space out your hard drives and allow for more heat dissapation. Stacking HD's one on top of another isnt the best thing to do because of the heat and it can lower the life of the drive. But the fan placed at the bottom of the case will help alittle.
If $$$$ is the problem you could sell those 40's on ebay and prolly get 15-20+ easily for them, each! But all in all, I think you did a great job! Alot better than I would of done

I agree with Sean, for the installed components that is great. However f you did decide to can the hard drives and get a bigger one, go the extra mile and get S-ATA a bit mroe money but if cable management is your thing, you cannot go wrong. All in all great work.

That's a pretty good job for all of those drives.. these guys are right, though. 8)
Cutting off the goofy rubber sliding things from the ends of a couple of your rounded IDE cables could help make it a little cleaner.. (specifically the ones at the top that are just hanging sideways..) Could tuck the wire a little better...
Other than that.. yeah.. downsize drives hehe

if possible, dump the 40 gig hds, along with the 100 gig, and replace with a 250gb. sell the hd's off to fund the 250. and maximize the ram to the limit, and get rid of any AMD crap and get intel top of the line.

Why would someone downgrade to Intel? :P

hmm, i would change to two 120 or 160 gb hhd. but in my think theres nothing rong with having that many hhd. my really really onld p1 or somthing (100mhz) had 6 hdds and total storage of about 10 gb i think lol

Unless your working with RAID alot of hard drives is pretty pointless.

one thing you might want to try is to turn the hard drives around backwards. this will be a pain since you have so many drives, but it will make things look much better
and get rid of the stock cpu cooler, and get a zalman cooler. They cool better and they look better than a stock cpu cooler

not sure how that would really help with wire management...

[smilie=BangHead.gif] took it to literal. See it as a free tip, special for you
