After a few weeks of planning, the HTPC is complete. I am actually using it now as I type. Windows is just a little difficult as I have to use such a low resolution, but games/movies/tv/video clips are excellent quality. Pics to come soon 8)

Is this a standard videocard or what... standard tv ? can you read ALL the text on the screen?

In all my experience with tv-out it's near impossible to make text readable without squinting a lot.. an HDTV would be best obviously but how does that one do?

much better than i expected actually. i have the resolution set to 640 x 480 so things are kinda big. 800x600 is still readable but you have to squint. 640x480 produces the best results. keep in mind its not crt/lcd quality, but its very acceptable. games and especially videos/tv look excellent through it. cant tell a difference from direct tv to the tv running thru the tuner card. perhaps the best part of it is the pvr software.

overall im very happy with it

upgraded the processor from a 1700xp to a 2400xp. 1700 just wasnt enough for the pvr software. also added another 512mb ram, for a total of 1 gb. running much better now.
