Yeah those are nice phones, friend has one.. I just got a Motorola V276, not much bigger than that one hehe

The keys are backlit with blue, think there's a light sensor though, they only come on when it's not very light..

I did see $200 rebate through Tiger Direct, but you had to pay your bill on time for 6 months before you can send in for it.

Once I sat on one... another time I got thrown in the pool (With phone in pocket) ... also i once got angry at my phone and threw it at the wall... and last but not least... i dropped my phone out the car window....

But the good thing I just told cingular that the phone came decetive and warranty covered it... just shows you how stupid they are...

picked it up on tues. honestly i was disappointed with all the commercialism in the stock UI, but the phone is real sexy once its been unlocked and modded/hacked/cracked. gets lots of attention also.

i spent a lot of time searching + gathering required programs, if someone needs one i can probably send you a .rar/.exe of it and save you the time. just msn me.

playa what were the SEEM edits for the text and date removals?

cost me $260 without a plan. then i had someone else unlock it becuase i hadnt ever "hacked" a cellphone, so that cost $20. $280 in all.

hey. i didnt do any of the seem edits (havent fully researched it yet and dont understand everything about it. to remove those texts, i used p2kman and motoskin and followed an online tutorial.

btw, the black razr = hawt!

Okay, I just got the Motorola V180, er. cause not only was it free, but it also has a $75 rebate, so I end up making $150 back on my 2-phone shared plan.

Anyway, my Canon camera USB cable works on this phone. I got ahold of the USB driver, so now I could use it as a USB modem on my laptop if I wanted to. But I really want to be able to upload/download stuff from my phone. I've read I need the Motorola Tools software... so anyone know where I can get it?

on no, not the v180. anything but that dreaded phone...

this is the same phone that tmobile gave me. it worked for about 2 months, then the screen went haywire. they replaced it... replacement lasted about a week and did the same thing. third replacement didnt even last 24 hrs@!

i took it back and requested a different model. the employee there had no problem doing that and told me that the v180 had a malfunction and he had several ppl come in each day with the same problem.

skip ahead a few months and i find out that my dad got this phone. i warned him and sure enough, he has already had the same problems with it.

i only hope they have fixed this problem in their later phones...
