what cable do i need for my xbox

i was wondering if anybody knows what cable i need to connect my xbox to my adsl modem/router i dont know if it is meant to be a straight ethernet cable or a crossover ethernet cable???????????

What kind of dsl/cable modem ??

A normal port would be straight-through, an uplink would be crossed over...

So, if it works in a normal port with a straight-through, you just need that.

If it works in the uplink with a straight-through and not the normal ports, you can use it on a normal port with a crossover cable.
