Here is the hardware I've configured for the computer I am buiding. However, since I am a total noob to it, I was wondering if someone can tell me if what I posted was of good quality or not.

Depending on what you'll be doing you may consider a bigger hardreive and a better videocard

any reason you are going with an IDE hard drive instead of a SATA drive?

Not that I know of... truthfully, I don't know the difference between IDE and SATA.

Go with an SATA drive definitely... if you're not intending on SLI, the DFI NF4 Ultra-D is a better board and only $128 on newegg (lots of bios choices & v4 vdimm  )

Might want to think about a faster card if you're going to be gaming, I would suggest a 6600 or 6600GT at the minimum..

What about a PSU? The one included with the case you linked only has 18A on the +12v rail, that's on the weak side..
