Nice scores, guys!!!

I'm currently reaching 4618Pts in 3DMark06 using my overclocked 7800GTX 430/1200@470/1300 (already posted pics couple of months ago in this thread...)

Right now, I'm waiting for my new 2x7900GT SLI set to arrive, so I'll post my new scores then...

EDIT:
Oh...BTW, I'm reaching more than 4200Pts and with a slower card, just because I have X2 3800+ CPU, which gives me few more scores...

OK I believe taking top spot here at OCIA with 15858 (http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=3786761).
QX6700 @ 3.4 8800GTX 621/2000 (169.09) Again running Vista 64bit.

ah yeah, looks like you edged out my old score by about 200 pts 8)

Yes indeed!

But then again you were running 3.6 (assuming XP) and I am running 3.4 (Vista 64bit). (Which just shows the improvements of the newer drivers)

5200+ @ 3.2
8800GT 256 @ 650/1600

Nice improvment over the 8600GTS. Even better than 8600GTS SLI score.

I need to start overclocking Mama's Computer.

I am running the lastest Beta 169.12.

It will be a couple of weeks before I will a chance to really sit down and overclock but trust me I will.

Come on, you can push that GT a bit harder than that can't you.........;)

No that's it for stock cooling and volts. From what I've seen there's about a 10% difference between the 256 and 512 versions, and you get a much better cpu score too.

Yup, true, the 256 cards come with slower memory installed, so their overall head room is not as high either. Wish they would have put some nice Samsung ram on these things, that would have made for a killer card ............

AMD 5200+ @ 3.0
8800GT 256 @ 700/1000 169.21 drivers
DRR2 800 @ 1000

So does pushing your PCI-e lane to 130-140 really work? Does it mess with your card? Do you only do it when benching or everyday use?

FunkZ

I always leave mine at stock. The way I understood it, increasing this can give you more bandwidth, but that the cards don't use all that is available anyway?

I am surprised that did not break 10k. I wonder what the bottleneck is?

The only thing I can think of is that it is running @ 8x instead of 16x.

Other than that I don't now. I still need to tweak the cpu abit more.

Well, BFG released a new bios for the 8800GT OC and then I tweaked it a bit more myself and then ran for a new best 3D Mark 06............. Anyways, this is what I ended up with................

It's not bad, I was expecting more from a 50Mhz increase on the core after the volt mod. I think it only went up 150 points. And nowhere near Bio's score, his CPU and Shader 2.0 points are kickin my butt.

Well your score is about the same as my QX6700 @ 3.2 with one 8800GTX stock setting of 621/2000. So to me it is pretty good for an 800GT 256MB card.

Nice improvement Ivybat! That's almost exactly how my 8600GTS performed, both single and then in SLI. (6264/10167) You got a bit higher points and spent less money too!

Proof that at 1280x1024 you don't need 512mb of ram or anything more than a GT to get great performance.

What the 3D06 score doesn't show is that now with the GTS I can play Crysis at my native 1920x1200 at all High settings and get great frame rates whereas with the 256mb GT I was limited to 1440x900 to run the same.
