So, how do you go about getting your name in the hat for this sweet case? First, you must be a registered member in the OCIA.net Forums. If you are not already a member, you can register for free by Clicking Here (http://forums.ocia.net/profile.php?mode=register&sid=4239dcb0e62b6c04d3dad818846093d3).

This giveaway is aimed more towards our active members. In order to enter, you must have a minimum post count of 25. These must be 25 relevant posts; spammed entries will not be considered so please don't bother. Once you have reached this minimum post count (many of you have well over the required amount to enter), send an email with your complete name, forum name, email address and shipping address to contest3@ocia.net then post a reply in this thread telling us that you want to enter! The giveaway will begin on February 28, 2006 and will remain open until March 31, 2006 at Noon, CST.

You must be 13 years or older to enter, as per our forum rules. The winner will be decided randomly by OCIA.net staff at the end of the contest. Do note that it is extremely important for you to submit a valid email address and shipping address. Once the winners have been chosen, their shipping information will be passed along to CoolerMaster for prize shipment. Shipping will be paid by CoolerMaster to winners in the United States, Canada and Mexico only (meaning this contest is only open to participants in these areas) . All email addresses will be sent to CoolerMaster for inclusion in their Newsletter and will then be deleted from the OCIA.net mail box. OCIA.net staff and immediate family members are not eligible for entry.

Man, they should have made this a contest where the best reason on why the case should be given to you!

I think I would have taken the cake on it.

When I first got my cheesy beige and nothing spectacular computer case from my friend for free, it must have been some type of curse! Being semi-excited that I didn't have to purchase a case and could now assemble all of my little goodies into something and make it work. Well in the process of putting together my system in this older case and not being as careful as I should have been, I had a little accident, well maybe not so little! For some reason, the power cable from the power supply seemed to be stuck to the motherboard and I had to remove it. I grabbed the connector and started to pull and pull trying to get it off. After using some brute force, I finally got it off! But as it was coming off, I failed to remember that older cases don't have rolled edges inside them, so it was like running a hot knife through butter. As my hand went back with the connector, it also rammed straight into the edge of the case. Pulling my hand out, I saw a nice little gash that was bleeding quite a bit and didn't seem to want to stop.
Luckily my friends where coming over that night as a pit stop on their way over to the night clubs. They rushed me to the hospital and waited while I went in to get 4 stitches to close that little bad boy up! Gotta admit they are some really good friends.
Kinda funny in a bizare sort of way, but hey I learned my lesson! DON'T EVER TAKE OR BUY A CASE THAT DOESN'T HAVE ROLLED EDGES!!!

Let that be a warning to all ye young ones! Haha :mrgreen:

I never realized how important a case was. If I don't win one I'll have to buy one and that costs money that a starving high-school student doesnt have. Cars and motorbikes cost too much when you only make 3-400 bucks a month. (and motorbikes are more important than computers)
