what would you consider your 'dream car'? in a realiastic price range, i would say a 93' Cobra Mustang. in a 'not so realiastic price range UNTIL i grad. college and get fat payin job, id say a late 90's Viper GTS. in the 'get real' price range, i wouldn't mind a Ferrari F50. how about you?

I'll take a 3000GT VR-4 Spyder
Get Real? For sure a Lotus Espirit

MASSiVE

i'd go for the dual-engine Peugot Hoggar, to get real i'd say a BMW M5 Sport or a Ford Focus RS Sport

bigass hoggar:

That has to be the coolest looking dune buggy I've every seen :). I'm not sure what my favorite car would be, probably anything new, as my car sucks.

Pumas are nice though.

Come on Techniq. You have to dream man! I think if you put a Mini-gun on that Hoggar, you have yourself a real life HALO Warthog!!! w00t!

siq
04-18-2004, 06:06 PM
you mean a puma.

Mine would be something along the lines of either a f50 or hennessy venom viper 800 :)

KryoNexus

i would definitely drive a puma.

realistic car, i'd take a lancer evo
dream car...hmm, not really a favorite, maybe an aston martin

Beemer
04-19-2004, 04:22 PM
Puma anyday! Who wants to be my gunner???
Nah, classic would either be a shelby cobra or shelby mustang.
New would be Ford GT or Viper
Realistic - WRX

MASSiVE
04-19-2004, 04:34 PM
that hoggar buggy is allow on the road btw, the second engine is best used for hills but if you want you can drive around with both enabled  8) i wish i could drive on of those..

I'm gonna have to go with beemer on the realistic.... WRX STi or a 03 Cobra would be nice. Eventually i want a 71 Hemi Cuda, and not so realistic i would prefer the Bugatti Veyron, i think that's what its called.

One day I'll be rich and I'll buy this one:

but then the S version, which is not out yet. So until then, the old one.

I'll be able to post correctly if you rename this to "your 20 dream cars" ;)

Yeah, I love things that look like they are going fast when they are sitting still.

I think one of the coolest thing about porsche's is their amazing drag coefficients. I believe they have the lowest in the world, if I'm not mistaken.

how about a chrome Mercedes 8)

wow, thats impressive. is it real? and if so, can it legally be driven? seems as thought it would cause a huge distraction on the road...

btw, another dream car i forgot to mention.... McLaren F1... drivers seat in the middle.... mmm...

silenze
04-24-2004, 06:33 PM
It does look a little funky, I'm curious if it's real or not -- the bumper pieces are flexible, I don't think chrome is too friendly to that.. heh

MASSiVE
04-25-2004, 06:30 AM
its is real, but there are numerous countrys where its illegal to drive around in chrome, here in belgium they wont even let scooters drive in chrome  it would be a distraction on the road, but if youre car shines really good the reflection will be great to, look at those showrooms for cars, most of em shine even better then a regular mirror would  and i dont think the chrome would like the flexible bumper, dont know what their sollution was, and i saw this chromed mercedes in a tuning mag we got here called "Opgezet" so it has to be real :P and btw what do you think of the Unique Lamborghini Diablo SE Custom Limousine  its custom build so theres only on of these worldwide :D

Actually, Lamborghini started out as a tractor company, long before they started building cars. Though I've never seen one, I always wanted a Lamborghini tractor.

http://www.samedeutz-fahr.com/lamborghini/img/fotoHome.jpg
Not that I am into tractors, I just assume that they would be cheaper than a Countach/Diablo/etc. Wonder if you can get "bling-bling" wheels for the golf cart?

Dream Cars:
affordable: my car when its finished
not in a million years: a real shelby cobra or a Skyline R34 GT-R Nur spec

anyone saw the movie I-Robot?? well audi made a concept by taking ideas from the movie, the car is a Audi RSQ Sports Coupé, only thing i dislike is that you cant see the rimms, i must SEE the rimms argh

wow, thats one fugly car! i agree, the wheels should be seen... would be a pain in the rear to change a flat tire on that

B16SOLNA
05-09-2004, 10:43 PM
i think the inner ghetto has been brought out in anyone who just has to see the wheels on a car. the 22s, 24s and god knows what else is out there is infecting us all. i like the streamlined look of the car. and to the problem for changing a flat.......all that is required is the indy style jacks built into the car, and for a car like that, it doesnt seem to out of reach

MASSiVE
05-10-2004, 06:23 AM
but i like the bad look the front has, if only they would implement that in there current cars ... :D

B16SOLNA
05-10-2004, 01:02 PM
that look of the front end does look very nice, however, they dont just sell to our kind of buyers, so they have to appeal to everyone and make the cars look plain. :(

silenze
05-10-2004, 01:04 PM
Oooo... this is similar, but I like it better:

B16SOLNA

nah. i like the one on this thread better, it looks more futuristic. that one in the link looks to much like an everyday semi-concept car.

silenze
05-10-2004, 01:09 PM
doo da doo doo doot meet george jetson :?

Would be an interesting idea for a race car... wonder what the coefficient of drag is on that thing heh

B16SOLNA
05-10-2004, 01:11 PM
i wasnt too concerned with the scientific factors.........all i thought was, oooohh, it sho is purty.

silenze
05-10-2004, 01:16 PM
it sho' is, here's some more pics of it: http://www.conceptcarz.com/folder/vehicle.asp?car_id=7928&autoShowID=47

i wouldnt mind taking a ride in a lotus esprit v8. those things are mega sweet. saw one on the highway coming back from georgia. bright yellow... mmm...

B16SOLNA
05-13-2004, 01:11 PM
i have heard that particular lotus isnt really all that special. i have heard that the interior is very cheap and nothing fits quite right and likes to rattle. im sure the ride would be entertaining, but nothing of any significance to write home about. i would get more entertainment out of a viper.

silenze
05-13-2004, 01:12 PM
"V8" "Twin-Turbo" -- that spells atleast a couple hours of fun for me. :)

B16SOLNA
05-13-2004, 01:25 PM
thats about the only good part of the car, which ashamedly, is the only good part about a lot of bad ass hondas. it may be balls to the wall fast, but since its not the whole package, ill pass on it.

silenze
05-13-2004, 01:27 PM
11's in the 1/4, .6 G's on the skidpad, what's wrong with that ??? lol..

B16SOLNA
05-13-2004, 01:34 PM
nothing whatsoever, and quite impressive at that, but as i said, its not the whole package of what a super car should be, so its got ta go.

silenze
05-13-2004, 01:35 PM
I was being sarcastic of course ;)

I totally agree, what's the use of going fast if you can only do it in a straight line.. backroads have curves and that's where you lose the co... err...

B16SOLNA
05-13-2004, 01:39 PM
oh, its a tad bit hard to tell sarcasm without hearing a voice. but yeah, there are few cars that are the whole package, and those cars are definitely a dime a dozen.

I'm gonna go with late 90s Nissan Skyline R34 Vspec Twin Turbo.
this is my dream car and you can have a JDM version imported for around 40k from this website I found.... don't you wish I could make a link... I will learn how one day.
