asus for me to, have a A7n8X2.0 Deluxe and never had any problems with it, some days ago i managed to take down the startup time 54secs, so it only takes 6 secs to startup instead of a minute like before, i dont have anything to complain about :D

I've always loved Abit. Unless they really screw something up, I'll prolly always use them.

I agree with KryoNexus, I have had two and have had no problems with my boards. "Abit helps me get the most out of my other componets. They have a lot of great features. Thanks Abit!"

No problem.
Giga-Byte for me...never an issue.
Had a nice Abit but Capacitors started leaking on it.
MSI - Seen a couple bad boards
ASUS - Board wouldn't take an "Asus" video card, lol

Been an asus fan for a long time, although availability might have something to do with it as well here. Asus is one of the few good brands they sell here (no abit, some msi, the rest all crappy pc chips and to certain extent gigabyte).
Btw, Chile rocks! You just can't get anything here :-(
However, good thing I go home twice a year to holland where they have everything and more......
btw Massive, how did you manage to get your startup time down?

i disabled my onboard audio chip & controller and my firewire controller in my bios, so i asked around to see if its it normal and they said the less hardware that needs to be initialized; the faster the boottime, didnt expect such a big difference tho  and i removed my floppy drive yesterday and also disabled the controller and drive in my bios, that didnt give any boost but hey im happy enough with my 6sec boottime :P

ASUS!!!!!!!
most other boards are messed up in one way or another.........ASUS boards does what it's supposed to, are reliable, and are top performers.

For me the best is Asus, I have the Abit NF7-S and it works very well but I like more the features of the asus a7n8x deluxe, so Asus was and is the best

Hafta give my nod to Gigabyte. Love my 8KNXP. Rock solid from day 1 and packed with goodies. Thinking about trying to get my hands on their 8KNXP Ultra 64. Would love to see what havoc I could wreak with that thing.

Back in the old days before there was dirt and Pentium 4's LOL I only used Tyan mobo's. Their dual proc P-III boards were the bomb. NOW, all I use it Asus. My first P4 board was a P4T533 running RDRAM with a 2.4Ghz proc. Was rock solid. Now I use a P4P800 Deluxe with a 3Ghz procand I will put it up against ANYTHING! Solid as GRANITE! Overclocking options are exceptional, and so is their support. If you are not using an Asus motherboard you don't know what yer missing.

Been tossing around the idea of going with either an Abit or Asus board after I get my WC rig put together. I didn't buy this board with the intent of OCing it, but it happened anyway and I know that it doesn't give the broadest range of Vcore and Vdimm out there which is what is needed to get good stability at the higher clocks.... And especially with the fast RAM they're coming out with.

Right now Im very impressed with my shuttle board. Some of the best OCing control out of any board Ive used and great layout. If I had the money though I would get an abit.

I'm a loyal buyer of Abit motherboards cause of the Softmenu and great overclocking options. There always looking out for the enthusist. Asus is good to performace wise but usually dosn't have the high voltage options like Abit does.

2 cents: my soft menu III on my BE6-II died after just a year, not a huge deal, manual jumpers, but still.

AMD:
KT400 (unrivaled KT chipset)
KT600 (almost competes with 400, but there is a 2-module memory problem that usually doesn't exist with Albatron boards)
nForce2 (perfect cheap overclocker, including voltages)
nForce2 Ultra 400 (two boards, both have great onboard sound and outperform most other AMD boards of the same type)
K8T800 (Socket 754 is probably still being developed)
Intel:
PX848 Like Pro (cheapest great P4 motherboard ever)
865PE + ICH5R (best P4 chipset ever)
With so many options for customers and an RMA rate that is one of the lowest in its class, Albatron is really good! It costs less than most other boards and most (if not all) boards have a cool blue PCB.
