Since summer is here I am finding out how well my ocing has gone. Well it works well in the winter but now that it is summer I had to add some cooling to my workstation. Here are some pics.

I think that I am going to look for a new case tomorrow to fix this problem. Also I think I need to ditch the fanless PSU.

Or you could mod that case for some fans. Like a 120mm on the side & back. Maybe an 80mm for the front.

I think that will do much more then the big room fan you mounted up there.....

You said you are looking for a new case, before buying the new one, mod this one add some coolers  , you have nothing to loose, you'll probably take this one to the garbage right?

Actually the fan in the picture is really good. My system was rebooting on me and my ram would fail memtest with many errors. Also the temps would go at least to 60 for the board and CPU. After putting in the fan my cpu is at 35 and the board around 40. The case will not allow for any fans in the back. I have 1 80mm in the front already and that is all. I could put a fan of two in the side and maybe a blow hole. The thing is this comp is my workstation (school) and also my wife's e-mail and Internet porthole. I really don't have the time to spend on modding it, believe me I would if I could. I was thinking of using a Sonata II but I am thinking that maybe I want to use a case that mounts the mobo on the left side which allows for better cooling.

You can put a fan on the back.

Get a dremel, made a template & cut a hole back there. I had a case with a similar back to yours & I was able to cut it & fit a 120mm fan.

Like zip said if your going to buy a new case youll loose nothing besides getting some new skills. Mount a 120mm in the side panel so itll blow on the cpu, ram & chipset.

I was thinking that I could modify the case but time was not on my side. I also wanted to set up a third comp for running some server work for games. So I decided that a new case would be the way to go. Plus my wife would think that I flipped if I had our two computers both being worked on at the same time.

Now that I have a new case I can now use the fan to cool me.
