My question is, what will the PS3 video cords be. I know the expensive one has HDMI but i dont have an HDMI input so that ones out.

Will it have the old red, white, yellow connections and are those capable of HD?

Also is there any converter to convert the yellow video to red green blue conections? Thanks.

Not sure, and no. Yellow, red and white is just standard video. Actually, the video cord is yellow, and the red and white cords are right and left speaker cords, respectively.

As for your second question, there is no such thing as a converter. When you input just a normal video cable into say, something would would convert, the converter wouldn't be able to upscale the quality of the standard video into HD. A standard video cable does not hold all of the information that a Component Video cable needs to produce a HD picture. If the new PS3 does not have Component Video (the red, green, blue jacks), I am sure that another third party company will come out with one. I know that MonsterCable has a Component Video cable for the PS2 available at Radioshack.

One would think that because the Xbox 360 was released with Component Video out as standard, that the PS3 will also (I'll admit that I have not done any research on the PS3 yet)
