Is there a way to flush a water kit by putting something in the water? I did some googling & didnt find nutin.

Reason I ask is I have some film in my tubes (used too much redline when I 1st got it) & Im sure its in my radator & my water blocks.

I found this, Here!!! (http://www.smartcomputing.com/Editorial/article.asp?article=articles/2004/w1510/42w02/42w02.asp)

System Maintenance

Every six months or so, it's a good idea to flush your system with distilled water and refill it with fresh water and a new dollop of coolant. Examine each component to make sure there are no visible signs of corrosion, mineral buildup, or organic growth. Then reassemble the system, and you'll be ready for another stretch of overclocking.

Thats kind of suprising w/ how many peeps from cali that are moving out here.

Ive actually already read that article Avalanche. It didnt get the film out of the tubes which I expected it wouldnt. I could take apart the water blocks but I cant the resivour. There has to be some chemical I can run thru it.

Appreciate ya searchin thou. :P

Drain out your old stuff, refill with a 50/50 mix of distilled water and white viniger. Run the cooling system by it's self for about a hour or so, drain and repeat as needed. After it's clean, flush with straight distilled water, drain and re-fill with your favorite mix.........;)

50/50 Distilled water and vineager beats my idea. I was gonna say the most effective thing is to run bleach in it. [smilie=thumbsup.gif]
