I think what playa is looking for is the actual model of Abit board, rather than just the general name. It allows us to research BIOS options, and other information on the motherboard to be able to give suggestions that may help you clock up a bit. Include as much detail as possible, Things like CPU(make, model, clock speed) Vid card(make, model, etc) type of RAM(brand, FSB, number of sticks etc)PSU(brand, power output) Cooling set-up(good cooling is pertinant to good overclocking).
The more info you give us(in detail) the more all who read your post can help you. For now, try bumping up the FSB in your BIOS one increment at a time to see if it boots into a stable O/S. Make sure you monitor temps with the software that came with your motherboard or a program like SpeedFan to keep things from burning up. Let us know how it goes.
