Not that it really answers your question, but I use an uber-bios on my a7n8x-e and it works excellent, many more options to overclock

I have used the modded bioses made by TICTAC and they work great if you have ram that can overclock to fsb over 220fsb. Also he has one where he fixed the mutiplyer problem when using a fsb over 220 and using the 10 and 10.5 multi.

Yeah, I've seen Tictac's stuff at the other forum, everyone seems to like his mods. If I ever go for a modded bios, it would definitely be one of his.

I would definitely be constrained by my RAM.

Which other site? Post a link, I'd be curious on some modded BIOS files for a few sideline projects.

I kind of hate to advertise other forums, but forum address is http://forums.pcper.com/

Look under "Abit Motherboards" under the first sticky "Abit NF7 Modded Bios's"

Wow...been a while since I was there...the forum changed names, used to be AMDMb.com.

I think this is one of the few forums that actually likes to support other forums and their work...one of the few I've seen anyways....these guys are cool about utilizing the knowledge and information found at other forums, and I think they also realize what a valuable resource it is.
I'm one who belongs to 8 forums currently, and am active in most of them, where I can be of use in helping someone I will post, if not, I read, and learn, as there is always something to learn. Don't see a problem with it myself, as one can only gain more knowledge if one doesn't limit themselves to only one source or information. JMT on that issue...but I don't see the admin here looking at you sideways for posting a useful link.
If it can help someone out, that's what these guys do best, and believe me...they'll check that link out as well, and see if it has something that applies to their own systems as well.... ;)

Actually, I think I found this forum from a link from another forum to a review here.
