Ok I took the time to get some stuff done.
So, I painted the drive bay covers black & installed my rocker switch.
Let me know what you think & please feel free to give me some ideas on what to do next.
Thanks guys.

Stealth your DVD drives 8) It would look very nice on your case imo.

I was looking at a old Maximum PC mag I have & they show you how to do that so I was thinking of giving it a try. I have to go to by buddy's again & paint two more of the drive bay covers but thats no biggie. I dident even think about it but the glossy black really sticks out on the flat black. I might have to paint my hole case. =)
One other thing I was thinking about doing it installing Plexiglass on the inside of the mesh to try to kill some of the fan noise. Any ideas there?

Plexi will quiet things down, but it'll also heat things up due to redused air flow in the case. You might want to try it out by taping off the side panel meshto see just how much the redused air flow effects your overall temps............

You are already using rubber gromets i think right ? A plexi would make a small difference if done well .. it would have to be flush with the mesh/side panel though, pretty much like a close case, the extra work is not worth it imo and your temps might suffer a bit.
Sound dempening material like the one found at frozencpu.com is a better option + it looks very nice.

By looking at the side panel in a few reviews, installing plexi on the inside like you mentioned, should be childs play. I say go for it, you'll notice the differance in noise for sure, plexi made a huge differance in the noise levels on my UFO when I got around to installing it on my side panels.

Ya, I have some Dynamat its a sound damping material for car audio so I thought it couldent hurt. I have a Idea for being a "label whore" If I can manage to get another 8800. I wanted to use something (probably construction paper) on the two mesh panels so you can see it. eVGA on one & ether nViaia or SLI on the other.
Its kind of expensive but what not? I should look into geting some more & cover the hole panel & bottom of my case.

Bro, is that Electrical tape I see holding up the lights? If you don't want to use the Velcro you can use a hot glue gun.

Going to paint my case tonight & get that all spiffyed up. Im wondering about my drives the covers have a "lip" on them & im wondering if I should cut it off, or if they will fit anyway. Any help would be awesome.

Most of the how-to's i've read on drive stealthing include cutting off the lip and velcroing the plate to your drive. but i'm not a real expert that's just what i've read :)

I hate to say it but its almost to black

O when I get some more time (probably this weekend) I'm going to paint the indents that I pulled the metal strips out of, on the top & bottom of each side.
Anyone have any other ideas?

Well found a trick with my drive bays so that looks a bit better. I didn't jam with my band tonight & my old lady went to work for a few hours so I had some time to do some more painting.

very nice... neon green is usually hard to pull off and look good, but i think it contrasts nicely with the black on the rest of the case.

I wonder if its because I was using 3 120mm LED fans & the ramcooler (3fans)
Wonder if I was just to much for it to take.

well its sent off & I installed (if you want to call it installing) pencil erasers so my stealthed drive bays have a push opening front ...... Better than ejecting in my computer, much easier too.
