Since I'm now the proud owner of a danger den water cooler I need to purchase 3 120mm fans for my new radiator but I don't know exactly what to get.
What are some good fans for radiators?

I just use standard TT 2000 rpm 120's connected to a fan controler to keep noise to a minimum when full speed isn't needed for cooling.

what about air flow (cfm) the more the better for radiators?

If noise is not an issue than yes the more CFM the better. Usually more CFM = more noise.

Depending on what rad you have, some are optimized for low cfm fans so you might not need high cfm fans..especially if you are going to use a shroud.

It's hard to tell from the pic on ebay, but it looks like the radiator is a BI Pro. If that the caes, anything over 80 cfm is total over kill. Most 2000 rpm 120 x 25 fans are around 80 cfm give or take a little and will be on the noisy side. My fans are rated at 78 cfm @ 12v and I run them at 7v 99% of the time due to noise issues. The differance in 12v and 7v settings might be 1c at the most. If your radiator is one the extreme models, fans over 80 cfm will help out some, but be prepared for a lot of noise.

Id say for 120x120x25 go with this. AeroCool XtremeTurbine (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835129245) & for 120x120x38 go with this. SilenX (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/4274/fan-235/SilenX_120x120x38mm_-_18dBA_-_90CFM_iXtrema_Pro_Fan_IXP-76-18.html?tl=g36c15s562)
Id recommend this for a fan controller Scythe KAMA METER. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811998011)

Beware if you have a case door. I wanted one of those and then measured and the nobs wouldn't have fit! Oh well

well I got 3 of these and they come with a controller each so I plan to take apart the controller and create my own front panel for the knobs
