Canon Ixus

At the moment I have a canon Ixus 40 and I have never before experience such great digital camera, but now it is getting old and i want a new one. I thought of getting a newer version of the Ixus but there are so many models. Anyone have experience of a newer ixus?

I've had 2 Canon cameras and both were great but not SLR's. :(
