F@H ATi GPU2

Anyone heard of/started using the GPU2 client for 29xx and 3xxx generation ATi cards?

I just started it up, we'll see how it does pointwise :) It seems all-right stable.

Anyone know why Stanford only offers this for ATI cards? If they came out with an nVidia option I wouldn't mind running it.

I think it's because ATi sponsored them from the beginning

Looks like I pulled 97 points in about 4 hours... not exactly what I was expecting, but it's not horrible either.

That's pretty darn good considering that a 3Ghz Intel Quad or 3.4Ghz AMD X2 gets right around 30 points per hour per core.

The reason nvidia cant do it is because there is a problem with the drivers and the way its programmed but from what I hear they are working on a way to make it compatible.
