well if you know that the cpu, mem, and vid card are good (as i figure they are since they work in your other mobo), then i would try pulling the battery out with the computer unplugged. leave it out for about 30 seconds, put it back in and plug everything back up. try powering it on and see what happens.
if you get beep codes, then look in the owners manual for what that beep code means. if you still get nothing at all, then i would say that motherboard is bad, at which point you can try to RMA it (just don't mention that you overclocked it)
i've tried that all ready and its still the same, so you think its shagged.

You have absolutely positively ruled out all other components? Have you tried to boot with only: PSU, CPU and mobo (no mem, no drives, NOTHING else). Be sure to have your pc speaker connected for the error beep codes or your normal speakers for the post reporter (which this mobo might have). It should indicate that it's missing mem, if you get that far, you know the mobo is not absolutely dead.
And one last question, the a7v8x is running with the same PSU?

i dont know if you board has this feature or not, but look in the manual for a reset jumper. i have had to use this jumper several times when i overclocked my pc too much and it would not boot.
typically, there are a set of 3 pins and the jumper is default covering two of them. turn the pc off, move the jumper over one slot to it covers the other pin, leave it about 30 seconds, then switch back. this should reset the bios settings to their default values...
