I was wonderin just how much watercooling you could put into this thing, is it possible to have one of those radiators with four fans (Im not into watercooling yet but hope to be, so i dont know all the lingo) in the front, im cool with cutting stuff and doing a little modding if its possible. Like mount the DVD at the bottom and remove the fan controller thing at the top, completely cover the front of the drie bays with mesh, with fans behind that then the rad. And maybe a triple fan rad at the top? Is this at all possible, just read the review Rutledge Feman did of it and i seem to be wanting it now. lol.
Well, is it possible?

Heyo, so there are 12 drive bays, and a 120mm fan roughly fits into three bays. So, if you wanted to have a 4.120mm radiator, you wouldn't have any room for your DVD drive unless you cut a hole where the fan controller is. Be advised, though, that the fan controller has its own little home on the front panel and no sort of bay attachment (just screwed at the top), so if you get rid of it there will still be cutting left to replace it with a DVD drive, or the top part of your radiator.
You'll need to mod because in between every three drive bays (save the top two sets of three), there is a little sheet of aluminum for support and what-have-you. You can see that a little better in my review of the A-17, specifically this pic: http://www.ocia.net/fullsize.php?filename=246_22.jpg
I didn't know they made 4.120mm radiators, I thought 3 was the biggest they got, but yes, it's physically large enough to fit one in there :)
As far as the top is concerned, you could also probably get away with a "qaudrad" up there too (it's 595mm tall, and 590mm deep, basically the same), but again that would require some modding, and once you get this thing and see how pretty it is, you might not want to cut it up too much :)
Bottom line: Possible.
Lemme know if you have more questions :)

What ill probably end up doing is removing all of the drive bays, and the fan controller at the top (And the little edges so it matches up and makes a big rectangle) And replacing them with some good looking mesh. Does that sound it will work, and the DVD drive at the bottom.

It'll work, but it'll be a little tight fitting in that optical drive. You might want to take inspiration from their new case, the Tyr, and put your optical in facing to the side, which will save you some space:

edit: i stand corrected, here we have a 4.120mm

So you think it will work? And ill probably put the PSU at the top and maybe another 4.120mm at the bottom. And then put some fans at the top for outakes along with the rear fan. 4 front intakes going throught the rad and 4 bottom intakes going through the rad, one rear outake and 4 top outakes (Including PSU)
You think it will be a "Cool" MAchine. ;D

hahaha i don't think you could fit a 4.120 at the top WITH the PSU, perhaps a three but that would be a tight fit

What are you cooling with these 8x120 heat exchangers?

Of course it wont fit at the top with a PSU, lol. Thats why i plan to put it at the bottom of the case. As far as what im going to be cooling.
CPU, GPU, NB, SB, And mosfets i think they are. And anything else i can. Heh...

I was just thinking it seems kinda overkill, but wasn't sure if you had like a tri or quad SLI setup you were planning on cooling with them.
