It looks like the folks at Stanford released a new v2 GPU Client two weeks ago that works with nVidia cards using Forceware 174.55 or newer drivers.

I am awaiting my step-up and without a dedicated GPU right now or I would try it out and post results.

I'm reading a lot of good things about the new NV client on the MSI boards, looks like it's helping that team a lot.
I had the GPU2 for ATi running for a bit, real expensive =/

That's what I'm seeing as well... 3000+ PPD from the GPU alone, up to 4500 PPD in some cases, simply insane lol. But there does seem to be many cases of instability and early unit ends, which is to be expected with a beta client.
What do you mean by expensive? As in electricity usage?

Preliminary results from the GPU client on my GTX 260 appear to be in the neighborhood of around 6500ppd. This is with the core clock increased 100Mhz to 675.
Seems pretty good according to this list of card models:

There is some significant heat generated from using the card in this way however. If I leave the fan on auto it runs at only 40% and the temp climbs above 70° C. By manually setting the fan up to 70% it is still fairly quiet and drops temps below 60°.
As far as electricity, the GTX doesn't use a whole lot more than the Phenom at full load. For the difference in point output I should turn off the SMP client and just run the GPU, heh.

Hey that's pretty neat--for some reason I wasn't expecting it to perform that well.

Check out the output with the latest 6.20 client! It's finishing frames in 52 seconds.
