I'll tell you this much, the preliminary results are pretty promising....

And the orange fan is very reactive too, it comes out real nice :) Usually (in my experience), UV pictures come out a lot fancier than they look in real life, but this is TOTALLY the other way around--if I had a window, I'd be using these cathodes :)

It reminds me of the toxic goo that made the mutant teenage ninja turtles ninjas, no mutants. How does it compare with stock cooling?

LOL I never used stock cooling on this Q6600, what a waste =P

Here's the review, went live today:

What is your Vcore? Those temps are awfully hot. On the last few cooler reviews I did, I cranked the Vcore to 1.5v, so it would better emulate a Core 2 Duo.

Though, I suppose my temps could be wrong...my E8400's CPUTEMP is wrong, I have to get my temps from the individual core sensors.

Any other hints? I'm installing a 780e this weekend, my very first water installation. I'll definitely be looking at your review during installation.

The temps vary from program to program, but it has a lot to do with the fact that my intake fans are really really dusty so they don't move much air (I gotta get on that...) It's true, though, that Everest reads a few degrees hotter than other programs, but I like to watch the hottest ones just to be sure.

My VCore is 1.4125, but MSI auto-knocks it down about 0.05 (It's hard to tell how much they do it exactly because it seems to be an odd 80th of a volt). I have to put it up that high to get anywhere with an OC, but I can go pretty far on the voltage I'm running, just haven't had a chance to see the limit (I took this down to a lower 3 from a low 3.3 at the same levels just to save headaches when switching to Vista)

Good luck with the install though--when I was installing, my biggest problem was that I didn't realize that more tubing isn't necessarily better, sometimes cutting off a few inches made all the difference.
