Setup....

Gigabyte GA-7VAX Mobo
Amd Athlon 2000+XP
512 Kingston pc2100 (:()

I dunno what else you need but right now I just gave it alittle 30 mhz so i'm running solid at 1.7 ghz and i'm still running 32 degrees idle. I turned on the "Top Performance" option in my bios to see what it did and it put me up to 1.7

What do I do from here :D

I'm looking for the specific version of my bios right now to help you out. I'll post it if I can.

I guess Ctrl-F1 opens an extra menu in your bios -- from reading on other's trying to overclock with it, it looks like you'll have increments for the frontside bus... 12.5x multiplier on that chip, so a 10mhz increase would put you at 1,787.5Mhz (example, prolly wouldn't need any extra voltage for this) -- that should probably be a safe margin for your ram, but you won't know till ya try it of course. :P

1.7ghz eh... that'd be 136Mhz FSB.. my xp2400+ thoroughbred liked 147Mhz FSB with PC2100 ram, I don't know about the Palomino.

Finding an average of ~2ghz at around ~1.95v and higher for that particular CPU around the net.
