OCIA.net and Corsair have teamed up to bring you FREE RAM for the month of July! Entering is simple. First, you must be a registered member in the OCIA.net Forums. If you are not already a member, you can register for free by Clicking Here (http://forums.ocia.net/profile.php?mode=register&sid=4239dcb0e62b6c04d3dad818846093d3). Once registered, post a reply to this thread telling everyone what you would do for some free Corsair RAM. After that, simply send an email with your complete shipping address to freeram@ocia.net and you are all set! The contest will begin on July 1, 2004 and will remain open until July 14, 2004 at Noon, CST. We will be giving away a total of four 1GB TwinX 4000 RAM (http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/products/specs/twinx1024-4000pro.pdf) kits, drawn at random on the final day of the contest.

You must be 13 years or older to enter, as per our forum rules. You may only submit your email address one time for this contest. Duplicate entries will be omitted. Winning entries will be drawn at random by OCIA.net staff and we will check to see that the above requirements for submission have been completed (registered member and replied to this thread). What would I do for some free RAM?

Dang that is a tough question,

First off it would be nice for some new RAM because I am building a brand spanking new gaming rig with all of the lights and flash, finally I have enough money whoooho!! And with all of that money that I could save with a free pair of RAM would go to a new DVD Burner and paying for the electric bill, which is so high because I run two dedicated SETI Analizers.

With all of that riding on the RAM I would gladly be at OCIA's beck and call for forum monitering and would also post a large promo on my web site and any fourm that I came across.

Free RAM, dang, I can't get over how nice that would be!!

I would crack the Kingston ValueRAM that has CH-5 chips on it. I've OCed that baby to 233MHz (466MHz effective) on 2.5-3-3-7 at 2.85 volts. Those are pretty lucky chips seeing as other's haven't had such luck...... Oh and then I'd eat the pieces...

Man that'd be great for my gaming and video editing and 3D animation exploration... I only have 512MB and I sometimes feel the effects of the lack of RAM. A gig of RAM would be a nice boost :) .

Apparently not, we were married 10 years, got divorced for 3 years, got back together 3 years ago and just remarried.

My advice. no matter how sure you are she is the "One" dont get married young. We married when I was 19 and she was 17. to this day shes still the "One" but getting married so young you miss out on a LOT and thats why we ended up divorced. (but remarried :) )

I already know how good Corsair Memory is since I have TWINX512-3200LL in my baby, but with Windows XP Pro and the apps I run, it's not enough! I would recommend every single one of my computer saavy friends to purchase Corsair RAM in the future if the 1 GB of PC4000 RAM is given to me. To me, Corsair is a great company with their XMS line of high performance memory modules. I've only used PC3200DLL, but I'd definitely be willing to give this stuff a try!
