I like the metallic style. The globe is great. Though there could be more graphics at the front, but... it's cool the way it is.

Alright, it is a nice shirt.... Wasn't my design - but it sufficiently rocks...

Like the shirt, Back graphic is great.
both the front a back patterns could be bigger.
AND (most important) I would like a color other than white for the shirt (being kind of a slob, white shirts rarely stay white on me for long, were gray, or dark red hides all sorts of things  )

07-14-2004, 03:26 PM
Nahhh.. I, personally, don't like the shirt - too plain-looking, would not stand out as it should in the crowd. I think it needs some cool fonts, colors, and an MIB-type guy in a Tron-like setting or, at least, an image of a computer with a dashboard attached, -something like that, ya know what I mean?! (something that looks like those heavy-metal rock-band T-shirts) And if the T-shirt would be black instead of white that would be even better! Good luck next time!

Cheers! 8)

I think that shirt is kinda weak. I'm not much for white shirts, they're usually the ones with the most budget graphics.
I've seen that ovular logo 1000 times before, and I think the font is very drab.
As retilezs said; the Hacker Threads logo is too much.
The 3D map of the continents has something going for it, though.

KryoNexus
07-14-2004, 04:54 PM
yeh, the hackerthreads emblem had to be on the sleeve. they actually put it on all of their shirts, regardless of who it is for (though i'm sure for a nice chunk of change, they'll take it off)

if there was alot of interest in different colors, we could probably swing it, but it would have to be enough to fill an order with them. playafly knows all of the specifics of it though.

Great t-shirt!
Everything is nice EXCEPT for the wording on the back. Either it is the font or the quote, but it isnt working for me.

Sorry I'm just being honest.

It is a nice shirt, I wont deny that, but there are a couple of things that would need to be done to it so that it would conform to the whole overclocking scene.

Firstly: Ventilation, alright so its a t shirt - nice and cool - but not quite cool enough for the hard core overclocker, given the amount of sweat given off by the stressed oc'er it would need ventilation holes in key places such as armpits (holes would just HAVE to be cut with a dremmel for that modded 'feel'. (maybee even watercooling?? or maybee phase change, nah too chilly)

Lastly: I hope to god that shirt is uv reactive for some of the hard core uv wh0r3s out there.

Shirt looks good. No other colors though? :( Definately need a black with the same silver logo. I think that would look cool. Might have to lighten the silver logo on black actually. But anyway, still a good looking shirt.

The shirt is pretty cool although I must say if you guys had it Black I would like it a whole lot more. Black seems to be a more favorable color(at least for me anyway.) :D

Not bad. Norm, I wouldn't normally wear a "geek" shirt. But, this one is definably wearable.

Pretty nice.

How about a polo version?

not a bad shirt, I'd be more likely to buy one in black though.

I had a KICK ass design for a ocia shirt, but couldnt get it down in PS

Jobe
07-15-2004, 12:06 AM
I think it's a decent shirt, but the design has a little bit of an 'amateur' look to it. But then about every tech company shirt has that look so maybe that's ok. I wouldn't buy one, but I'd be happy if I won one in a raffle or a contest.

I like the front of it alot. I think it could be improved upon, though; make it black, and have the globe on the back on fire, as we are overclocking it ater all!

I have only two complaints about the shirt...a. I haven't gotten mine yet...I assume they are waiting for several to be ordered to print some more up. and b. they are only available in white. Other than that they look great.

PS. how much will it cost to be sent to the UK? (the prize that is, not the t-shirt)

First off, the shirt is at a good price.
First thing that came to me when look at the shirts is that the max size is XL, maybe you should have some XXL's in there also.
The graphic on the front is nicely placed, the size is perfect.
The hackerthreads.com log on the left isn't that good, since it is hard to read unless you get really close to it, so that you can read the white text, it should be moved somewhere else, like under the OCIA logo, or something.
On the back, the world Overclocking appears twice, Maybe you should replace the Overclocking text under the earth image to "OC":
OC'n the WORLD

Overall the T-shirt is awsome, and would probably look just as good in black.
on a scale of 1-10, I give it a big FAT 9
9 is for awsome. good job!

the shirts can be special ordered for sizes above XL, although I am not sure on the wait time for this...

we have put a lot of thought into doing a black shirt as well, but I am not sure if people would really buy them, especially those who already have a white version... :?
