I have had a 2nd gen IPOD with 5gb for a year and a half now, and still I haven't been able to fill it. I only have music on there I really want to hear, so i have no idea who has 10.000 songs they want to hear.
But then again, you can use it as a maasive storage device as well, then size comes in handy.
As for the IPOD itself, it's a brilliant piece of equipment. If mine died today, I would buy a new one tomorrow.
