Temps???

I've been running an oc'd Pal 1800+ for 3 weeks straight at 2000+ specs, it was running what some might call a bit hot at 49 degrees in a a/c'd apartment. I clocked it back down for a couple of days, and then cranked it back up to the 2000 specs...and now it's running a constant 45 degrees....any ideas? Did this thing just finally burn in?

that is possible but most likely something has changed around your system causing a temp decrease.

if you recently installed the chip/heatsink, it could be from the thermal paste breaking in.... although i wouldnt think there would be such a drastic change in temps...

With the AC ON? .... must be the OEM cooler, 'cause that's pretty warm. Then again it is a Palamino.. should pick up a better cooler. ;)

Was looking at a better hsf in the near future, along with a Barton 2500-m. For now just workin on cooking the ol' Pal chip. ;)
