ImperialGL mobo,
Pent 2.2 Celeron 845g family
ICS 950201 pll

I tried the CPUCOOL program, and it said ..... lol..... it said there's no way, and no how it can be overclocked.

Yet, I heard a 3rd party bios? can allow me to overclock this piece of crap.

Do you guys know if it can be done?

you might be able to change some jumpers around and see if that helps you out any. if not, you can get a new motherboard to accomodate the rest of the system for pretty cheap. then sell the old one on ebay and call it a day.

I'm agreed, I wouldn;t try to use a software OC if I was you anyway. They are not particularly stable. It is much better to OC through the bios, so I would get a new mobo, maybe 40 bucks or so, and sell that one one eBay. Heck, I even have a P4S800 mobo that I have been looking to sell. If you're interested, let me know. I have great feedback, so no worried there.

Well that's all I really wanted to know was if I could over clock this one.

I've been saving up money for a new system, I only have 500 more bucks to go till I can get all the parts at once.

I was hoping I could OC this one for pete's sake... get alittle more enjoyment out of it before I blow it up.

Thanks for the feedback.
