I'll give you a couple tips, that I wish I had earlier...
Move slowly, listen to the audio recordings, and read the emails you pick up on your PDA.
And prepare to (most likely) get scared a few times! :D

Holy crap, what a game! I played for 3 hours on Tuesday night... haven't touched it since out of... fear... I literally jumped in my seat at least 5 seperate times! It's DEFINITELY the type of game to be played late at night with all of the lights off, and the surround sound pumped.
As I was playing I was constantly noticing these great screen shots to take, and so smacked the Print Scrn button. Only problem is I didn't realize at the time that that only copied the screen to the buffer. You actually have to Alt+Tab out of the game, open up Photo Editor, and paste it into there to save it... D'OH!! Well, there goes all of my neat screen shots...
I'll be starting the game over next time I play.. I want to try it on a harder difficulty. We should have a Doom 3 Screen Shot competition... whoever can get the best looking shot. :o

It's a crying shame that I'm not rich, could you imagine having 3 HDTV's set-up as multi monitors

It's a crying shame the store owners (of my work) aren't into computers/modding/gaming... I'd love to put together lots of expensive stuff for them like that... :?

actually, you can just hit F12, which will save the shot in the screenshots folder in the Doom 3 directory. do this as many times as you want, and they will all be in there waiting for ya ;)

Lol...
We might as well throw in a killer 7.1 surround system while I'm still day dreaming.

HAH! *drool drool drool*
In all seriousness, dreams aside, I heard that its realy not worth the extra buckaroos at this point to get the 7.1 rather than the 5.1. Not too many games/movies/applications in general can make use of it yet. Anyone heard anything significantly godo or bad about 7.1 yet? (besides the fact that 7.1 sound would simply kick @$$...)
Oh, and THANKS SO MUCH Playafly187!!! That will make my screen shot taking TONS easier! I was thinking there had to be an easier way... :)
[is a "ton" a measurement of difficulty????]

Metaphorically speaking, yes! Ever played with the Fraps utility? (Makes it very simple to take screenshots in any game with the press of one button, all saved in a specified directory for later viewing, does in-game movies too, but it sure sucks up the system resources.) Shows the FPS too, in any corner you want! :P

I just checked out fraps... wow, really cool program! That 20 meg Doom3 demo file is really impressive. What is the best quality of movie that you can take with the freeware version of fraps?

I have yet to play a DVD or game that used my 6.1 setup and I got this about a year or more ago.
