Uhm... I'm not a car enthusiast, but I saw a really nice Ferrari in New Orleans this past April. It rolled past us on Bourbon Street and I *think* the same car is sitting on a rooftop parking garage in the picture I took from the hotel window.

Has my vote...it would satisfy my love of motorcycles and speed, as well as my love of cars...all rolled up into one wild looking ride!

You'd be long gone by the time I figured out how to not go completely sideways when trying to accelerate! :P

Actually.... the gixxerkart is lighter... and the t-rex only has 100cc's on it..... estimated 0-60 is under 3 seconds for the gixxerkart and 4.1 or so for the t-rex... I think the gixxer would win off the line and up to a speed where it started to.. float.. haha

the t-rex is actually based of a gixxer 1000 cc engine, it's the fact it has the ability to handle as well as accelerate that would prolly put it out front in a very short time...so long as you can find a road to run it on.....it's street legal, and classifies as a motorcycle, yet it handles more like a car than a bike....with a lot of stability...my personal preference lays in the fact that it just looks so different from anything else out there.

Ironically enough, the idea was probably partly stolen from a trike kit you could get for the Yamaha FJ 1100/1200 series bikes in the mid 80's which had the two wheels out front, rather than in the back. Having them up front adds a lot more stability in corners than having them in the back, as they don't tend to rise and go onto two wheels as the normal trike kits do.

You mean from the 80's which had 2 wheels in the rear ?? Seen those... never thought they looked very safe. (never seen one other than the t-rex with 2 infront..)

900lbs... hm..

When BS'n with one of the guy's on a Y2K bike, he commented he was scared to go any faster than 170mph because the acceleration was still so intense, and the bike didn't want to stay on the ground...

Where did you read 200mph? The site says 140mph top speed... any tests/videos online that you know of? (interested :P )

saw a viper gts yesterday... well, i heard it driving by at first, and mistakenly thought it was some old ragged truck or something. sounded all grumbly and funky, although deep and loud.
