No problem at all. Just slave it, or put it on its own channel, and don't set it to boot.

Don't set it to boot? In Bios?

Yup, set it in bios to boot from the new HD and don't list the old one at all in the boot sequence............

Actually, if it has no OS on it then it wont be the system disk and you wouldnt be able to boot from it. Either way it should work if you get it connected up right.

Well the system I ordered has an 80 gig on it as a master, and the one now has no os on it, its just a slave for storage, Which I intend to use it for on the new computer

Yea, if it shares a channel make sure you have the master/slave set up right. If it is on its own channel leave it as master. Windows will detect it and assign a drive letter. If you dont like the letter you can change it by right clicking on my computer->manage->disk management->right click on the disk you want to change the drive letter to->click change drive letter or path.
