Screwed by Pay-per-view?

I purchased the Ole Miss football game on pay-per-view today.

1:50 left in the game, Ole Miss down by 5, having just scored. We try the onside kick, and it is successful. We have a good chance of winning. Then all of the sudden the announcer guys are like "attention affiliates, we will be switching to transponder XXXXXX after the next play." And sure enough, after the next play, service is cut off...

I paid 30 bux to not even see the 'dramatic' finish? I think not!!

yeah, i called them shortly after the game, and left a message with the answering service. i dont plan to pay the full amount...

just got off the phone with the cable company. they are refunding 1/3 of the price of the event, so not too bad.

still, better than anything Time Warner in Memphis would do.
