Since I've got my computer Windows mediea has been hating me. I couldnot watch videos that I click on the internet. It would give me some exception error about a bad url. To watch them I'd first have to save them too my hard drive. Any Idea whats up?

Try copying the URL, click "file" "open URL", and paste the URL. That's what I have to do.

also make sure you have the XVid and DivX extensions installed. there is actually a really good codec pack on the internet that has all the codecs you could ever need. it's called the Nimo codec pack. google for it.

Yeah, once you've installed the Nimo pack your set on Codecs. Strangely, however, that doesnt sound like a codec issue. WMP shouldn't be doing that to you. Again though, it IS a windows product.

No codecs won't do that... almost sounds like spyware.. or just a bad install of wmp heh
try upgrading media player...
