You do realize that 1280x1024 is an off scale resolution, right? Should be 1.33 to 1, that's 1.25 to 1

Yeah, it seems like the 1024 makes more sense, but in reality it's WRONG! :) I actually used that too, till I was making wallpapers one day and went... wait a minute, this doesnt work.

1x 1600x1200
is how it truly is

big difference between that and 5440x1200

5440x1200 = 6528000 pixels.
in actuality, you have 5852160 pixels, a difference of 675840 pixels or 1024x660 in terms of resolution which is almost another monitor :-)

still though, you have more pixels than I do
