90's....though i spent most of it listening to rap, i found i enjoyed alternative more and more as the decade passed. still though, many consider Nirvana the father of alternative, which makes me want to hurl. truth be told, nirvana recieved a ton of inspiration from bands such as REM. i don't really enjoy the "hard, headbanging, alternative", but stuff that is still relatively easy to listen to.

I like the verity of most of them quite a bit, except the 80's pop sucked pretty bad. :barf:

haha, same here. i was big into rap for the longest time, then XPTB had me slowly moving towards alternative/rock stuff... now i listen to it more than the rap...

I grew up with the late 70's to present rock, but I'll always have a soft spot for 80's metal.

metallica isnt pop, st. anger was terrible, but it was still rock, pop music is like the fag timberlake or spears, metallica was once metal but softened up to rock, better than that 2 pack you listen to

The 60's, no question about it. The 70's were ok up until Dec, 1976, when Saturday Night Fever was released. There was some awesome music in the 40's and 50's too, though. I really don't have a lot of opinion about much since then, though there was a good song here and there...and none of them involved Madonna, or any of her clones.

I'll always be a Metallica fan, and a fan of other 80's music as well. I do listen to modern day rock and metal, selective rap, and other genre's as well. I'm definitely not limited in that regard.
It's Tu Pac, btw ;)
Just for kicks...here's a trivia question for ya.
Who sang the song Run, Runaway, and what album and year was it released? ;)

LOL....I faintly remember seeing the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show...yeah, I've been around awhile...but honestly, much of the music I listen to was recorded before I was born.

lol I was teasing. I listen to some older stuff way before my time occasionally:P
I'm gonna have to go with 80s, but I do like some 70s. Who can forget classics like "Welcome to the Jungle"?
And Metallica did turn gay, but I still liked the loaded/reloaded CDs. After that, it was gay. Favorite song by them was "For whom the bell tolls".

I think "Welcome to the Jungle" came out in either 1987 or 1988. Probably mid-1988 I was offered some G&R tickets for free. I said "keep 'em". LOL
