Thanks for answer . I know in the US there are some 6800Ultra, but i don't know what shop it's good to buy on it (i mean that i don't know if that shop will quit me the money and don't send me anything ).
Cya :D.
P.D.: Sorry for my poor english .

http://www.newegg.com
They are generally quick and do good business. But, they happen to be out of Ultras right now. :(

!!$600.00¡¡ Maybe i'll wait for mine in Spain better (529€). I'll send an e-mail to them to ask when they will have in stock .
Cya :D.
after recent events of aquiring a retail copy of server 2003 I'm looking to sell it and spend the money on ram and a 6800 ultra. biggest problem i've found here in the U.S. is that best buy, newegg, and every other freaking online/retail store is sold out. kind of irritates me to the point of if i'm going to pay the money upfront for something like that they better darn well have it.

Its been my experience with TigerDirect, that they are horribly slow (I've had an "in stock" order from them take as long as 2-1/2 weeks) and there service is only mediocre. IMO.... There are many places online that are much better to shop from.

Hah, I've had just the opposite. While I don't like the cheap crap they've been pawning off lately, I've always gotten next day delivery with UPS Ground, and quality service.

Hmmm... Still waiting for it :???:. I won't need it before HL2 release, so, i'll wait something more .
A little question, what about 6800GT?

NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Series Spec:
GeForce 6800Ultra = 256MB GDDR3, 16 pipelines, 400MHz/1.1GHz
GeForce 6800GT = 256MB GDDR3, 16 pipelines, 350MHz/1GHz
GeForce 6800 = 128MB GDDR, 12 pipelines, 325MHz/700MHz
Not a whole lot... personally I would buy a 6800 GT and overclock it.

Ok, thanks, i'll wait for HL2 release and then, if i don't have it, i will buy a 6800GT or maybe an X800XT Platinum Edition :???:. I like X800XT PE, but i won't buy it for now because it's not compatible with DirectX 9.0c and SM3 like nVidia cards (maybe that won't affect in games that use these features, but if yes... i need to be sure, so i prefer for now nVidia ).

The Radeon X800 XT Platinum is Direct-X 9.0 compatible.

You have more reasons why your not actually arguing the point you told people to stop arguing than any other person on the forum. :)

1.) I said arguments based on opinion.
2.) This was pointing out a fact.

Most arguments are based on facts at some level. It's when those facts are tilted by opinion that you get arguments. :) But apparantely your not affected by this.

I think you mean when opinions are tilted by facts....
You must also mean "but apparently you're not affected by this."...

No, I meant that facts are tilted, or colored, if you will, by opinions.
But thanks for picking apart the grammer... since that had so much to do with it.

I don't care what way you try to play it silenze, two people can look at the same facts and apply them in different ways. Take statistics for example. Two different people can look at the same statistic, and depending on which way you spin it you can use it to mean two different things. All I'm saying is that you shouldn't tell other people not to debate about crap like that and then pass keep pushing your own opinions because of 'facts'.

That wasn't an opinion.... it was a fact, I was making light of it for someone who obviously wasn't aware of it......
