Just figured since it seems to be the thing to do for the last couple of days, who's managed to read and vote in all the new polls?

Go for em all...you might get out of overclocking your mouse if you could ;)

Personally, I did try overclocking my mouse...but what's the point? I used an old ball mouse I didn't care about...not much you can do with it aside from up the pci lock....lol...it's accurate enough...just a pain to clean ;)

I guess you could consider increasing the ps2 sampling rate (for ps2 mice) in windows 'overclocking your mouse'

Technically ya, but does it really gain you anything? Sorta falls along the link posted in regards to the guy overclocking his calculator....you can only move it so fast, and click so fast...what's the point?

yeah, it helps achieve some smoother mouse movement in some situations... doesn't always help.. really depends on the mouse.

A mouse' smooth movement really depends on the mouse, and it's particular settings...can't see overclocking it being of any value....my opticle mouse just died, and my 7 yr old ball mouse is back in action, and working fine....just hate cleaning it all the time...go figure?

Hey, I'm behind on my schoolwork enough as it is. ;) I've also learned that it doesn't pay to tinker too much in this household.
