Palm Zire 21's SUCK

Ok.... once in the past my Palm Zire 21 has just up and randomly lost all of my information... very annoying, but I had just synched with the desktop.. so no big loss. Yesterday my new workstation for work arrives, I clean up all of the stuff from my old machine(uninstall palm desktop, other programs, clean up the \program files\ directory by deleting folders of things I uninstalled), get the new one partially setup(no Palm desktop installed yet), the old one in it's new home, and go home for the evening... well I wake up this morning, my Palm is beeping, which I found odd since I had no alarm set for the time... I grab it, and it's a reminder to register my palm? I turn it off, turn it on, and all I see is stylus calibration... calibrate... and then find EVERYTHING is gone from my palm.. my checkbook balancing software and all of my $ info, gone, my remote control software, gone, all of my appointments, gone, my to do list, gone, all of my notes, gone... etc... etc... the list goes on, and gets worse.

Have you contacted Palm to see what they had to say about it?

Update: woopie, I got an email from Palm... step by step on how to do a hard reset.... um... IT DID THAT ON IT'S OWN ALREADY!!!!

Sigh... I did however find a backup, it's just from August... :cry:

Dude.. that did SUCK!!! Wow.. our pocket pc gaget just up and unistalled its software from my PC like 2 weeks ago, and I have no clue why.. all of our appointments were in it.. if I lost my financials ohhhhh I would be so ****!!! :evil: :evil: :evil:
